Global Humanistic University (GHU)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The accredited Global Humanistic University (GHU) was founded in 2018 with the goal of providing sustainable education at the highest level. The GHU received its officially recognized university status from the Ministry of Education of Curacao.

The privately owned Global Humanistic University (abbreviation: GHU) has its online campus and administration offices in Curacao (Dutch Antilles) and is an online university with the following faculties: Business Administration, Finance and Law. The GHU offers Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees.

The terms global and humanistic were chosen because the founder of the GHU, Helmar Grabner, has always had the objective and the vision to provide high-quality education for everyone, even in the remotest corners of the world at a low cost via the internet.

The GHU is currently cooperating with Harvard Business School, the University of California Riverside, Schiller University and Universidad da Vinci.

The GHU's customized Master of Business Administration is unique in that students can now (2020) access 27 study materials (videos, recordings, as well as all learning materials) free of charge.

The accreditation agency AQAS from Germany recently accredited the Bachelor in Business Management and the Master in Business Management online study programs. The local accreditation agency Accreditation Agency Curacao recently accredited all of the GHU’s study programs.

The GHU is located in La Puerta Business Centre, Coral Estate, Curacao. This business is situated in a resort in Curacao, with access to the Caribbean Sea and accommodation facilities for students and professors. This makes for a very pleasant learning environment.

The university has an Academic Board (AB), which is responsible for academic and administrative duties and a Board of Entrepreneurs (BoE), which deals with the further development and relations of the GHU in the business world, i.e. both the job market and issues of financing.

The three faculties, Business Administration, Finance and Law, and the diplomas are all geared towards students who are already working.

The infrastructure of the island is good. To visit the GHU to attend graduation ceremonies, seminars, and workshops, the island can be reached either through Amsterdam Airport in Europe or through the following airports in North and South America: New York, Miami, Toronto, Bogota, and Panama City.
