The Global Youth Model United Nations (GYMUN), also known as Global Youth MUN is an annual four-day travelling Model United Nations Conference organised by Global Youth Society, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to empowering youth in pursuit of global peace. With the end goal of promoting the art of diplomacy among youth, the conference travels from country to country and serves as a beacon of hope for future policymakers and young diplomats who aspire and have a notion to represent their countries, cultures and institutes at a global level by making their voice heard loud and clear in the halls of senates, at the councils of the United Nations and in International Organizations. Activities
Committee Sessions
Delegates at Global Youth MUN will be allocated to represent countries, governmental and non governmental organizations, or individuals within the ambit of the United Nations Organization or other global organizations. Delegates will be debating on global issues, not according to what they believe but in accordance with the stance of what the country they represents believes thereby making a detailed resolution to solve the issue they are discussing.
Social Events
Evening Social Events is a major component of Global Youth MUN activities, which includes, but is not limited to cultural night, delegate dance, club nights etc.
