Glocalist Review in Vienna
The history of the media brand dates to 2003, when Glocalist Review was founded in Vienna as a digital weekly publication serving NGOs, NPOs, politics, economics, culture and civil society.[1] The founder and publisher was Christian Neugebauer. Early subjects included sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and business ethics.
Glocalist Medien
The project later developed several publishing formats and established Glocalist Medien as the organizational framework for its operations.
Other publishing formats
The Glocalist media project developed several publishing formats alongside its core operations, including Glocalist Daily News, Glocalist Review and Glocalist Magazine. Glocalist Daily News provided news coverage on sustainability, business ethics and civil society. Glocalist Magazine covered topics at the intersection of economics, culture and social responsibility.
Expansion into Germany
Glocalist Medien expanded into Germany in 2007, extending the brand's presence from its Austrian origins into the German market.[2]
2018 glocalist.press launch
In 2018, glocalist.press was launched in Berlin as a daily online publication covering innovation, research and development, investment and sustainability.[3] The founder and publisher of the 2018 edition was Dr. Naftali Neugebauer.
2026 return
Glocalist Press returned in 2026 as a German technology and business magazine.[4] Its current coverage includes artificial intelligence, semiconductors, enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, robotics, digital health, biotechnology, energy, capital markets, research and industrial transformation.
