glooby is a Sweden-based travel metasearch engine that enables users to find and compare prices on airplane tickets and hotels, while indicating the most fuel-efficient flights and eco-labeled hotels.
glooby calculates CO2 emissions and lists flights with the least amount of such emissions first in its search results.[1][2]
History[edit]
glooby was founded in 2013 by two Swedish programmers, Simon Smedberg and Emil Kilhage, after one of them was frustrated by the difficulties of finding the most fuel-efficient flights online. glooby was first launched in December 2015.[3]
Work[edit]
glooby does not sell anything directly, instead it presents an overview of available flight and hotel deals on the internet and refers its users to the airline or travel supplier’s website to make their booking directly.[3][4]
