Gloria Kim is a Korean-American pop singer, multi-genre songwriter, producer, and DJ[1]. Born in Maryland and raised in Virginia, Kim began her music career in college while living in Nashville, TN.
In September 2017, Spinnin' Records released her track 'Take Me', with Australia's No. 1 DJ[2], Will Sparks[3].
Her release 'Trust Me' with Natiive, was nominated for the 2018 Hollywood Music in Media Awards in the Electronic Dance Music category[4].
In May 2019, she collaborated on a song with Canadian DJ and producer, Vanic[5]. Their song ‘Save Yourself’[6] was released through Disruptor Records[7] and promoted through Trap Nation[8]. Kim also released her own singles, ‘Feelings’, ‘What You Need’[9], and ‘Mood’ the same year. Following her singles, in June 2020, she released a song with Insomniac DJ and producer, GRLSKOUT[10] called ‘Gemini’[11].
Kim is accredited as one of the vocalists on the track ‘Gone 2 Long (Choir Version)’ by the band PRETTYMUCH[12]. In May 2020, she produced the music for the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month filter for Snapchat[13]. She has also had placements in the TV show, Empire and on the soundtrack for the 2020 virtually premiered film ‘This is the Year’[14], done by Selena Gomez[15] and David Henrie[16]. She currently resides and works in Los Angeles, CA.
