History
GoDutch was founded in 2024 by Dutch entrepreneur Thomas Vles.[1] GoDutch, launched mid 2024, combines business accounts with automated payments, expense management, and AI powered workflows for SME.[1] The platform initially offered Dutch IBAN business accounts and debit cards in cooperation with licensed financial institutions.[2] According to the company, it grew to serve more than 12,500 users within its first year of operation.[2]
The company received pre-seed funding in 2025 from founders and executives of Knab, Bunq and Goldman Sachs. Later that same year, it raised a €3.6 million seed round from institutional investors. Within its first year, the company reported more than 12,500 users and an annual processing volume exceeding €1.5 billion.[3][4]
Services
GoDutch provides business payment accounts accessible via web and mobile applications. Features include invoicing, expense management and bulk payment capabilities.[2] The platform incorporates automated processing of invoices and expenses, and supports export to third-party bookkeeping software commonly used in the Netherlands.
GoDutch does not hold a banking licence and instead operates with regulated European financial partners responsible for safeguarding customer funds, including BNP Paribas.
