Goodlight is a brand manufactured by LED Eco Lights, a British LED lighting manufacturer and supplier. Their Goodlight range of LED lamps and luminaires offers a solution to halogen, fluorescent and incandescent lighting. The company's headquarters is in Camberley, Surrey with an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Their Goodlight range of LED lamps include GX1 high bays, low bays, panels, invisible panels, downlights, spotlights, AR111 & PAR38 lamps, gimbles, T8 & T5 tubes, CFL replacements, G360 SON replacements, 2D and street lighting. These LED lamps and luminaires are suitable for commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and amenity buildings and have been used in many blue chip companies globally. Most recently, Goodlight took part in the BBC One series of DIY SOS: Big Build Veterans Special where they donated LED lighting to war heroes.

History[edit]

The brand, Goodlight, was founded ten years ago in 2006 by the Directors of LED Eco Lights, Waq Bhatti and Saima Shafi. After winning exclusive contracts with Pets Corner,[1][2] Goodlight LED lamps were specified across all Pets Corner stores nationwide.

The Goodlight LED lamp range have been short-listed and have won many awards including: 'Most Innovative Lighting Product' by The Electrical Industry Awards [3] for their Goodlight G-Sense 2D Lamp which was also voted 'Best Retrofit' by Lux Magazine.

In 2013, Goodlight were short-listed for 'Project of the Year (Electrical, Lighting)' and 'The Energy and Carbon Saving Award' for an LED installation in British Airways World Cargo installation.[4]

In September 2014, they were selected as Finalist for 'Project of the Year 2014 Award' by The Electrical Industry Awards for their installation of Goodlight LED T8 Tube Lights into Jaguar Land Rover's Solihull Plant Production in the West Midlands. At the end of 2014, their G360 LED SON Replacement Lamp was selected as a Finalist for 'Energy Efficient Product of the Year (Lighting) Award' by the Energy Awards.

In 2016, their G360 LED SON Replacement Lamp was short-listed as Finalist for the 'Energy Efficiency Product Innovation Award' by Edie's Environment & Energy Awards 2016. Later on that year, Goodlight was shortlisted for two additional awards for their G5 LED Batten; The FX International Interior Design Awards for 'Lighting Product' and The Electrical Industry Awards for 'Marketing Initiative of the Year'. Both of these award ceremonies will be held in Winter 2016.
