Goodnight Sweetheart The Musical is a jukebox musical based on the award-winning BBC TV series of the same name and written by Laurence Marks & Maurice Gran. The musical follows the story of unlikely Time Traveller, Gary Sparrow and features songs from the 1940's and 1980's.
Original Production[edit]
The production debuted at the Brookside Theatre[1], Romford on Saturday 15th September 2018.
This long anticipated musical[2][3][4][5] was written by Laurence Marks (British writer) and Maurice Gran, one of Britain's leading comedy writing partnerships and the duo behind Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman and Shine On Harvey Moon and was cited by the BBC as one of the "theatre shows you won't want to miss in 2018."[6]. Marks & Gran also wrote the musicals Dreamboats and Petticoats and Save The Last Dance For Me (musical).
