Gorimondo

Gorimondo is a fictional character first appearing in the Super Smash Bros. series, first listed as a character originating from the Kirby video game franchise, initially depicted as a secondary antagonist but later apologises and commits to becoming a reformed and supporting individual, with a less hostile and more constructive and assisting personality. Gorimondo is apparently a gorilla-like creature who resides in the Forgotten Land therefore has the ability to time travel across dimensions and experience the accomodation of an ancient civilisation who decided to perform controversial and analytical scientific tests on an invasive species at a distant lab, whilst additionally surrendering to a rebel organisation and is eventually taken hostage by this outcast association, being validated and approved as a member of the lowest tier in the fixed hierachy. It is later freed by Kirby from the control of the neurological essence that materialises the main antagonist of the Forgotten Land before later residing in the central hub of the video game aforementioned, also known as the previously destroyed Waddle Town.

Gorimondo was defeated by a skillful and inquisitive knight creature who strongly resembles Kirby 30 times, despite the character understanding and utilising his reliable and powerful spin attack (proving that physicality is nothing compared to tactical combat in the game).

He appears in the series as the first checkpoint boss in the plot of the video game comprising of a compilation boss-rush; and is recognised to know 4 attacks: Lifting boulders from the ground and propelling them towards their opponent, a destructive spin attack (which can result in self-inflicted confusion momentarily), a Mario-like ground pound attack which results in a damaging 'ring' to travel across the terrain and a standard foot attack where any adversaries directly below the character are vulnerable to receiving damage.
