Gossiplanka.com is a Sri Lankan online news website containing Sri Lankan and world news written in Sinhala. As of January 2019, Alexa Internet ranks its website traffic 8th in Sri Lanka, and in the low 7000s in the world.[1] Gossip Lanka News launched on 14 July 2008, as a novel concept in Sri Lankan web sites. It was initially launched as a gossip Lanka blog Since its inception have become popular due to reports of hidden news and hidden stories in currant affair news and popular culture. When it's developing age interaction with readers with comments and it possible to have a lot of ideas and make a platform for public ideas.

Gossip Lanka News have covered all the controversial news of the past years in Sri Lanka, also covered publication of photographs, festivities, weddings etc. It always been new because of the introduction of voice commands, photo dialogs, and many of other new features, from a periodical to the Web site. Also have a Facebook page, YouTube channel and a Twitter page.

2013 Gossip Lanka has been nominated for the most popular website at the SLIM Nielsen Awards. It has been named as the most viewing web site ever in the world of Internet based IT surveys. Gossip Lanka, which ranked top out of the websites of local websites from February 2011 according to Alexa ranked websites, continued to stay to date. Gossip Lanka was the brainchild of a number of other Gossip websites, and this was the key to maintaining Gossip websites, even in mainstream media. Gossip Lanka News is different from the one used by other Gossip websites and is the main streamlined and site-related web site responsible for reporting. As a result, the majority of them have been able to maintain their unwavering trust.
