Government Post Graduate College Maldevta (Raipur) Dehradun[1]. also known as rajkiya snatkottar mahavidyalaya maldevta raipur dehradun. was started in year 2014, it is situated in Theva village, Maldevta, Raipur, Dehradun district of Uttarakhand.

In continuation with the declaration made by the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Government Wide Order No. 851/XXIV(7)/2014-15 (/kks)13 dated 26/11/2013, the college was started with a faculty of arts and commerce on March 5th, 2014. Government Post Graduate College[2][3] was initially established in four rooms of the Mandi Parishad in Kesharwala, Raipur, and offered courses in Hindi, English, history, political science, economics, education, military science, and commerce (with all required papers).In 2016, the college was relocated to a freshly built structure at the Sangam point of the Song river and Bandal rivers in THEVA village, Maldevta, Raipur.
During the 2016–17 academic year, the science faculty was introduced to the fields of physics, chemistry, mathematics, zoology[4], and botany.[5] In the college, the B.Sc. (Home Science) programme debuted in the 2017–18 academic year with 30 seats. During the 2017–18 academic year, P.G. classes in political science, education, and Hindi were introduced.
