Grüum
grüum is an online shaving, face care and beard maintenance subscription service based in the UK. It launched in September 2016 and quickly rose to prominence with a number of large scale promotions with national newspapers [1] The UK razor market is dominated by Gillette with an 85% market share.[2] This market dominance has led to high prices. The grüum founders believed there was a demand for lower priced high quality razors and launched with the premise of "easy on the face and easy on the wallet".
The grüum product range comprises three distinct strands: 1) beard maintenance products(such as beard/moustache wax, beard oil and beard shampoo); 2) cleanse products (including an exfoliating face wash, daily moisturiser and a facial tonic); 3) shave range (including razors, handles, shave gel).
