Grace Klienbach is an American ice hockey forward, currently playing with the Connecticut Whale of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

Career[edit]

From 2013 to 2017, she attended Neumann University, scoring 51 points across 100 NCAA Division III games, serving as team captain in her senior season.[1]

She was drafted by the Toronto Furies in the seventh round of the 2017 CWHL Draft.[2] She would sign her first professional contract with the Connecticut Whale of the NWHL ahead of the 2017-18 season. She scored in her NWHL debut with the Whale, and finished her rookie season with two points in 13 games.

She stepped away from hockey for the 2018-19 season.

She returned to the Whale for the 2019-20 season, with Whale general manager Bray Ketchum recruiting her at the team's free agency camp. She was named to Team Packer for the 2020 NWHL All-Star Game, and was originally named the winner of the faster skater at the skills competition before the league announced an error in the time-keeping actually put her in second place behind Allie Thunstrom.[3]

Personal life[edit]

Outside of hockey, Klienbach works in the medical field.[4]
