Graebert GmbH (Gräbert in German) is a CAD software development company headquartered in Berlin, Germany with additional offices in America, Europe and Asia.[1]

The company was founded in 1977[2] and it has a large installed base in the industry for 2D CAD.[3] Graebert is the developer of the ARES CAD software.

Throughout its history, Graebert made several CAD innovations, from the first DWG drawing format compatible alternative to AutoCAD in 1994[4] to the first CAD software for mobile devices in 2000,[5] and the first CAD software running on the three major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X and Linux).[6] In 2014 Graebert introduced a full-featured CAD app for tablets and smartphones[7] and in 2015 a CAD platform for the cloud.[8] All of which are natively based on the DWG file format.

In 2013, Graebert released building surveying software SiteMaster.[9][10]
