Grapevine Gathering is a one-day festival known for its wine-infused theme that is held annually throughout some states of Australia. This festival has been held at Rochford Wines in Yarra Valley, Victoria, the Roche Estate in New South Wales, and the Sandalford Estate in Swan Valley, Western Australia.[1]
Grapevine Gathering has played host to many globally recognised international and domestic artists such as Dom Dolla, The Veronicas, The Presets, Golden Features, Claptone, Nora En Pure, Lovebirds, MK, Young Franco, The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club, Motez, Lastlings, CC:Disco, Peking Duk, & Vera Blue.
History
Beginning in 2017 was Grapevine Gathering's inaugural event, hosted in Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley in Victoria. A carefully curated line-up of both domestic and international artists was delivered, providing festival-goers with a wide variety of genres and styles over the one-day event.[2]
Heading into its second year, the 2018 edition of Grapevine Gathering expanded locations to now include New South Wales' Roche Estate.[3] This year managed to encapsulate the best aspects of an out of town music festival bringing together an eclectic mix of music, stunning surrounds, gourmet food vans, and alcohol to suit all tastes including Young Henry’s and Pimms." Grapevine Gathering's third instalment expanded yet again, this time to Western Australia's Sandalford Valley in Swan Valley. 2019 Grapevine Gathering.[5] It boasted acts such as Two Door Cinema Club, Crooked Colours and Flights Facilities.
2020 saw Grapevine Gathering take a year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6]
Returning in 2021, Grapevine Gathering came back with its biggest line-up yet. This time, it was held only in Victoria at the Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley in Victoria. It hosted acts such as Peking Duk, The Jungle Giants and Vera Blue [7]
Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the 2022 edition of Grapevine Gathering will return interstate to New South Wales and Western Australia, as well as its home Victoria.
