Muhammad Nor'adyman Bin Ady Anuar (born July 16, 1996), better known by his stage name Graye, is a Singaporean singer and songwriter based in Singapore and currently signed under independent distributor Tunecore. The name Graye was inspired by the name of an anime character Gray Fullbuster from the Japanese manga series Fairy Tail, but instead of using the same English name and spelling, he decided to use Graye instead of Gray, which is too common for him to use. After making his debut in 2021, along with his first digital EP Lefty released in 2022, he gained attention with an unexpected number of streams on Spotify, nearly hitting 1 million streams, and went viral in the Philippines, where it peaked at number 42 on Viral 50 - Philippines,[1] featuring his top cover song "I Wanted You",[2][3] originally written and composed by Ina Wroldsen and Andre Lindal.

Education

Graye studied at Lakeside Primary School (2003-2005), Dazhong Primary School (2006-2009), and Jurong West Secondary School (2010-2013).

Career

Graye released the singles "Change"[4] and "Fiancée"[5] in 2021, written and composed by himself. In February 2024, he received recognition and was interviewed by Ryan Peterson, a Co-Founder and manager of Stellar Trigger and Stellar Music, contacted via Instagram.[6][7]
