GreenEarth Cleaning

GreenEarth Cleaning LLC is an American drycleaning chemical company based in Kansas City, MO. It was formed in 1999. The company does not operate any dry cleaning plants, sell machines, solvents, or detergents, but rather licenses independent dry cleaners and chains to become affiliates and use their proprietary cleaning process. There are currently more than 1,200 GreenEarth affiliates worldwide.[citation needed]
The GreenEarth system is a process for dry cleaning using liquid silicone (decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, or D5), a solvent.[1] D5 is generally considered not to pose a health risk to the public,[1][2] but has been found to persist in the environment and is harmful if fumes from its burning are inhaled.[3][4]
