Greg Chase (Born September 2nd, 1996 ) is a Canadian YouTube creator and real estate investor.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Greg Chase was a student at Durham College, Bermuda where he studied Interactive Media Design, Web Design, Photography and Editing until he withdrew from the program.[2]
Career[edit]
Chase is the creator of the channels Top 5 best, 100m Videos, Grimm and Fact File on YouTube.[3] At the time, Chase was only 20 when he started making YouTube videos during the “bottle flipping” trend in 2016.[4]
After getting fired from his job in Canada at an electrical company, Chase started building his YouTube career, and created the channel Top 5 Best where he focused on list-type videos.[3] He found a formula that kept his audience growing steadily and he spent about 16 hours a day interacting with his community. He became an overnight sensation when his goal of one million subscribers doubled in a year.[5]
After witnessing the success of his YouTube channel in November of 2016, Chase dropped out of university. He began learning new business skills through YouTube and investing in cryptocurrency and real estate.[6] His last full time job was at an electrical company in Canada. He is now a full-time YouTube entrepreneur and real estate investor.[7]
