Gregor Rom
Gregor Rom is a German physician, photographer and former 1st-league-rugby-union-player.
Biography[edit]
Gregor Rom started playing rugby for Stahl Brandenburg when he was a teenager. From 1999 to 2001 he played for the SC Siemensstadt in the 2. Rugby-Bundesliga and from 2001 to 2003 for the Berliner RC in the 1st Rugby-Bundesliga. After a break of few years he switched to USV Potsdam (1st and 2nd Bundesliga).[1] Gregor Rom last played 2013/14 in 1st Bundesliga for USV Potsdam.[2]
Gregor Rom was 1999 to 2001 the 2nd head boy or spokesperson of the student council of the state Brandenburg and member of the board. Also he was elected member of the Landesschulbeirat of the Ministry of Education of the state Brandenburg and member of the student council of the Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark.[3] Gregor Rom took the Abitur 2002. He studied human medicine at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg from 2002 to 2008. Since 2008 Gregor Rom is physician.[4] Also he is an international media photographer.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
