    Grist is a free and open-source collaborative software developed by Grist Labs. It is headquartered in New York City.

    Grist is a spreadsheet-database hybrid, with the features of a database but applied to a spreadsheet, much like Airtable[1]. It is officially sanctioned by the French fr:Direction interministérielle du numérique for use by French public servants[2].
