Plot[edit]
An astronaut and a NASA ground control expert who have never met fall in love over the course of the astronaut’s classified mission to an abandoned space station. When things go wrong and he is presumed dead — until 18 months pass and they receive word he’s alive.

On April 20, 2012, Disney acquired Jason Micallef’s romantic comedy “Ground Control to Major Tom,” with Michael De Luca, Josh McGuire, Trevor Engelson, and Seth Gordon producing the film and Gordon set to direct.[1] On March 2, 2020, Solstice Studios revived the film with De Luca, McGuire, and Engelson still attached as producers and Gordon will direct the film as a drama.[2]
