Guisborough Town Council is a parish council in the town of Guisborough, within the Unitary Authority of Redcar and Cleveland, in North Yorkshire, England.

Responsibilities[edit]

Councillors are responsible for Allotments, the environment and Open Spaces, Small grants, Play areas as well as community events, such as the annual Produce Show.[2]

There are several committies relating to these councillors may join.

Elections[edit]

Elections happen every 4 Years, with Councillors being able to seek reelection with no term limit. These elections happen on the same days as Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council elections. The next Guisborough Town Council election is scheduled to happen on 4 May 2023.

Structure[edit]

The town council has no controlling parties to the council, although half of the councillors are from the Conservative Party. It is structured similarly to other Parish Councils in England.
