Gurinder Singh
Gurinder Singh is an Indian academician and institution builder. He is the group vice chancellor of Amity University Group, which is a global network of private higher education institutions. He is known for his pioneering contributions in international business education, transnational education governance, and global academic diplomacy. Singh has been recognized among the Top 2% Most-Cited Researchers in the World by Stanford University and Elsevier (2024) for his research contributions.[1]
Early life and education
Singh holds a Ph.D. in International Business from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He had completed his Master's in International Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).[2]
Academic and administrative career
in the mid-1990s, Singh was part of the founding team of Amity Business School. Eventually, he became the youngest person to be appointed as Founder Pro Vice-Chancellor of Amity University.[3]
