GuruShots is a Tel-Aviv, Israel-based online photography platform.[1][2] It was co-founded by Gilon Miller and Eran Hazout on 2014.[3]

Competition[edit]
GuruShot users can submit photos to themed photo challenges, vote, and comment on other user images and also have progress ranking on the platform.[5][6][9][10]Photographers compete to earn prizes and increase in level with one another.[5][6][2][11] The award-winning photos are selected through a crowd-based voting system and later voted by the host called Gurus.[5][6][2][9]
The GuruShot application is free of cost and certain power-ups associated could be taken by winning competitions or purchased from the respective portal.[3][11] GuruShots users can have their account generated from any one of their social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and email.[3]
