Bestmile (28 January 2014) provides a mobility platform that offers fleet providers a solution performing advanced ride-matching calculations for customers. Bestmile checks for vehicle availability, possible trip combinations, trade-offs between fleet size, waiting time, vehicle assignment (in split seconds), travel delays, and operational costs.[1] [2]Bestmile partnered with EIT to support LMAD (Last-Mile Automated Delivery). This firm also partnered with Beep, an autonomous mobility solutions company. Bestmile enables intelligent operation and optimization of mobility services, managing fixed-route and on-demand services with any vehicle brand.
Funding
Bestmile raised $16.5 million in Series B funding.[3] They also raised $11 million in Series A funding. Investors in Bestmile include TransLink Capital, Blue Lagoon Capital, Serena, Airbus Ventures, Partech, Groupe ADP, Road Ventures, Serena, and Aeroport de Paris.
