Gustafva Katarina Angel (4 January 1838 – 26 January 1919) was a Swedish inventor. In 1892, Angel obtained a patent for an invention in a peat charcoal process. Her invention is described as a "simple, inexpensive, and the only one which makes it possible to extract a solid, transportable peat coal from peat."[1]
