H2PL

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

H2PL stands for Hydrology and Hydraulics Programming Library. It is a computational engine that provides geo-spatial processing and hydrological calculation functionality for net languages. The library was developed at the Department of Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering of VUB(Belgium). The functionality of computational hydrological functions in addition to a collection of complex spatial calculations allows users to develop their own models using different scripting languages and graphical interfaces. Output models of the library can be compiled as standalone executable files and therefore it would be independent of any GIS platforms. With the intention of encourage users with minimum programming knowledge, the programming structure of the library is kept simple.
