Hoda Kerbage (born 28 June 1980 in Lebanon) is a Lebanese author, scriptwriter, filmmaker and actress.

Hoda grew up in the Metn district. She is the daughter of Mohab Kerbage, a lawyer, and of Therese Kerbage, a French literature University Professor. She has two sisters, Dr. Hala Kerbage, a psychiatrist based in France, and Nathalie Kerbage, a lawyer based in Beirut.

Hoda Kerbage was born and lived her childhood during the Lebanese civil war (1975-1991). She studied at Ecole des frères Maristes Champville and then pursued her university degree in film studies at IESAV (Institut des études scéniques et audiovisuelles) USJ (université Saint-Joseph) Beirut.

She graduated in 2002 and then pursued a Master’s degree in Paris III La Sorbonne-Nouvelle in Paris, France. Her Master’s thesis treated the identity of Lebanese cinema as a national/patriotic industry of cinema versus the concept of Lebanese filmmakers without a Lebanese cinema industry.

She worked in France for around 13 years, collaborating with many production companies and filmmakers.

In 2008, she gained the scriptwriting BOURSE BEAUMARCHAIS - SACD, confirming her as a talented screenwriter.

She came back to Lebanon around 2015 where she became a partner in fisheYe, a production and content company that was amongst the first to create high-end digital content in Lebanon.

She created her own niche boutique company in 2017, Loba Creative Direction.

She teaches at university and pursues many personal projects.
