The company was founded in November 2012 by private investors, immigrants from Russia – brothers Pavel and Stanislav Dubinin[2] (Pavel Dubinin is a graduate of Bauman Moscow State Technical University).
In 2012–2014, the company developed and patented the design of composite cylinders using PET technology. In 2015, mass production of composite cylinders for liquefied hydrocarbon gases was launched.
In 2018, 10 percent of the company was bought by the Indian corporation Supreme Industries[3]. In 2020, the company, together with the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, launched a project to develop high-pressure cylinders and technology for their production. The project is partially funded by a grant from the technology agency TAČR[4] under the TREND program.
Activity
HPC Research works in the field of design, development and production of plastic parts and products from composite materials, as well as the development of equipment for these industries. In addition, it conducts research and development in the field of fuel storage systems for spacecraft.
So, the company's fuel tanks are used in ION Satellite Carrier of the Italian company D-orbit, as part of the engine system. The company's cylinders were first launched into orbit on January 24, 2021 as part of a satellite located on the Rideshare Transporter-1[2] company SpaceX.
HPC Research sells products worldwide. On the territory of the former USSR there are its representative offices in Russia and Ukraine. The head office of the company is located in Prague, the production areas are located in the city of Pilsen.
