From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
HTTPA (HTTP with Accountability) is an internet protocol proposal being developed by Berners-Lee's research group to thwart misuse by private companies of the personal data of users such as name, contact details, and date of birth.[1] The protocol will automatically monitor the transmission of private data and allow the data owners to examine how it is being used.[2]
