Hae day, 16 May is the official annual awareness day for hereditary angioedema (HAE). The awareness day is called hae day :-) and the main focus is to raise awareness of HAE amongst the general public, healthcare professionals, healthcare decision-makers, and the pharmaceutical industry.[1][2][3][4]
Each year, HAE International (HAEi)[5] initiates a campaign to create a focus for HAE and hae day :-). Many HAEi member organizations around the world and the health industry take part in the awareness day and arrange awareness activities and events locally and nationally, and HAE patients and caregivers take part in the global campaigns via the haeday.org website[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
