Haider Ali Tiger (born 09 January 1961) is an Indian politician. He is a prominent Muslim leader of the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh (East).
Early life and education
Haider Khan was born 09 January 1961 in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He attended Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith and obtained an M.A. Political degree in 1980. Khan has five sons and one daughter. One of his sons, Akmal Khan Tiger, was former President of the Students' Union at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad[3][4] Prior to joining politics, he worked as a head constable in Uttar Pradesh Police.
Political career
Haider Khan was a member of the state employees commission of Uttar Pradesh (राज्य सफ़ाई कर्मचारी आयोग) in 2016. [5]. He has been secretary of Samajwadi Party Uttar Pradesh [6] He was also a candidate of Samajwadi Party at Mohammadabad (Assembly constituency) in 2017.[7][8][9][10] [11] He was also a president of Akhil Bhartiya Pathan Mahasabha[12] Uttar Pradesh. Khan is currently a member of the Samajwadi Party.
