Hailun Piano Company., Ltd. is a piano-manufacturing company in Ningbo, China

The Hailun Piano Company was established in 2002 by Hailun Chen and Faye Chen in the city of Ningbo, China.[1] The site were the Hailun Piano factory is located was the former Ningbo Piano Parts Factory were piano parts and components were manufactured and was bought by Hailun Chen prior to the formation of Hailun Piano Company.[2][3]
After the company formation, Hailun started investing in Japanese made digital equipment and production lines to modernize his factory[4] and also attracting foreign talent like Frank Emerson, Peter Veletzsky, Zlatkovic Sibin, Ema Shigeru, Stephen Paulello and Claire Pichet to have a good international team of designers for its pianos.[5]
In 2003, Hailun started a collaboration with the Austrian piano company Wendl & Lung, making the pianos of this company on the Ningbo factory.[6]
In 2006, Hailun was the winner of the “China Top Brand Name” award.[7][2]
Today, Hailun is a established producer of 38,000 pianos annually. [8]
