Haji Idrees Palh, (Sindhi: حاجي ادريس پلهہ), was born in January 1926 at Miranpur, Sindh, a small village (at that time it was small, but now this village is one of the largest villages of District N/Feroze) in Naushahro Feroze Taluka. At that time, it was part of Nawab Shah District.
Life
He studied at Taleem Balgan School. He became a social activist and was many times elected a member of the union council. He worked for all the Miranpurians; he was a wise person and respected his elder brother, Haji Dhani Bux. He married twice; his first wife died after three months. He married a second wife, and all of Haji Idrees Palh's children were born from his second wife. He even gave half of his property (which was truly only Haji Idrees's property) to his brother.
Family
He had seven children. One of his sons died at a very young age. One of his daughters lives in Miranpur, two in Padidan (named Haji Ismail and Abdul Fattah), two in Hyderabad (named Abdul Razaque and Abdul Hakeem), and one in Karachi (named Abdul Sattar; all are married).
Work
He was one of the generation of Sindhi socialists who came to the literary forefront immediately; he was a social politician in the area. He was a Social Activist and an elected member of the Union Council.
