Faqeer Muhammad Soomro (Sindhi: فقیر محمد سومرو ‎ March 1, 1955 – ), Pakistani Writer, Researcher & Columnist from Sindh.[1]

Early life[edit]

Faqeer Muhammad Soomro, son of Moulvi Allah Buksh Soomro, born in Hingorja, a town of District Khairpur of Sindh. He has written a research book "Soomran Jo Shujro" "سومرن جو شجرو" published in 2013 by Peacock Printers and Publishers, Karachi, Pakistan. He also writes column in daily newspapers Daily Hilal Pakistan, Daily Awami Awaz and also published many articles in Volume-8 of Encyclopedia Sindhiana published by Sindhi Language Authority (SLA), Hyderabad, Pakistan. At present, he lives in Karachi, researching the Soomra period of Sindh.[1]
