Faqeer Muhammad Soomro (Sindhi: فقیر محمد سومرو March 1, 1955 – ), Pakistani writer, researcher & columnist from Sindh.[1]
Early life
Faqeer Muhammad Soomro, son of Moulvi Allah Buksh Soomro, was born in Hingorja, a town in Khairpur District of Sindh. He wrote a research book, "Soomran Jo Shujro" "سومرن جو شجرو", published in 2013 by Peacock Printers and Publishers, Karachi, Pakistan. He also writes columns in the daily newspapers Daily Hilal Pakistan and Daily Awami Awaz, and has published numerous articles in Volume-8 of Encyclopedia Sindhiana, published by the Sindhi Language Authority (SLA) in Hyderabad, Pakistan. Currently, he resides in Karachi, researching the Soomra period of Sindh.[1]
