Life[edit]
Hasanli Shahin Huseyn oglu was born on July 7, 1974 in the city of Baku. In 1981, he began studying at Baku Secondary School No. 189 and graduated in 1991. In 1995-1997 he served in the army on the frontline. In 1991-1999 he studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Azerbaijan State Technical University. In 2001-2004 he received his second higher education at the Faculty of History of Baku State University. He speaks Arabic, Persian and Russian. He is married and has four children.
Religious activity[edit]
Haji Shahin Hasanli has been receiving religious education since 1991. In 1992, he began his spiritual activity in a small house of worship called "Husseiniyya" in the Yasamal district of Baku. Since 2001, he has been an imam at the Mashadi Dadash Mosque in the Nasimi district of Baku. In this and previous years, in addition to receiving independent religious education, he taught religious subjects. He paid special attention to the teaching of beliefs, philosophy, ethics and tafsir. In 2013, he was appointed akhund of the Mashadi Dadash mosque, in 2014, he was appointed an authorized representative of the Caucasian Muslims Office in Nasimi district, and in 2021, he was appointed a member of the Council of Veterans of the CMB. For many years, he has been leading the Hajj and Arafah caravans and serving pilgrims.[2]
Social activities[edit]
In 1998-2001, he was the chairman of the Ikmal Youth Union, one of its founders. His organization has opened offices in different regions of the country and held various events throughout the country. The main direction of his activity was the promotion of our national and moral values, a healthy lifestyle and a sense of patriotism among young people. In 2007, he founded the "Spiritual World" Public Union for the Promotion of National and Moral Values, and since then has headed the organization.[3]
