Hakeem Muhammad Amin Soomro (1895 – 12 June 1965) (Sindhi: حکیم محمد امین سومرو‎) was a Pakistani physician specializing in South Asian traditional Unani medicine, a Muslim politician, and a freedom fighter. He studied at Tibbia College, Delhi,[1] in 1921 and was a student of Hakeem Ajmal Khan. After returning from Delhi, he was appointed Royal Hakeem of the Princely State of Khairpur, Sindh, during Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur's[2] era. He was a politician and participated in the Pakistan Freedom Movement, the Reshmi Romal Movement, and the Khilafat Movement in Doro Naro,[3] Sindh. He was a founder member of the All-India Muslim League in the Dhoro Naro branch near Umerkot, Sindh. [4]
