Hakki Subentekin
Hakki Subentekin (born in Istanbul, 1980) is a Turkish filmmaker and producer.[1]

Subentekin graduated from St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. He has lived in New York City since 2001

Career[edit]
Subentekin's film Rising Sun (2007) won the Best Short film Award at the Kent Film Festival in New Milford, Connecticut.[2] His film Alicia (2009) won the Best Domestic Short Film Award at the seventh Queens International Film Festival. Subentekin is a founder of the New York Eurasian Film Festival.
