Hakki Subentekin
Hakki Subentekin (born in Istanbul, 1980) is a Turkish filmmaker and producer.[1]

Subentekin graduated from St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. He has lived in New York City since 2001

Career
Subentekin's film Rising Sun (2007) won the Best Short Film Award at the Kent Film Festival in New Milford, Connecticut.[2] His film Alicia (2009) won the Best Domestic Short Film Award at the seventh Queens International Film Festival. Subentekin is a founder of the New York Eurasian Film Festival.
