Halifax Vandals RUFC are a rugby union team founded in 1923 who play in Yorkshire division 3.
The official club colours are royal blue and white hooped shirts, navy blue shorts and royal blue and white hooped socks. The alternate kit is red with navy blue trim, navy blue shorts and red socks.
The Warley based club have a long-standing rivalry with Old Rishworthians and more recently, with Halifax RUFC and Old Crossleyans.
Halifax Vandals have a clubhouse with 4 changing rooms, a referees room and physio / first aid room. The club has a function room and bar, overlooking the first team pitch which is used for pre / post match hospitality.
Jamie Bloem was a new player coach for the 2013/2014 season. Bloem had experience in both codes of the game playing international rugby league for South Africa and Scotland. Bloem signed on for another 3 years as Vandals head coach, following the promotion winning 2015/16 season. The following season (2016/2017) Vandals secured a second promotion in as many seasons. Vandals moved up to Yorkshire division 2 for the 2017/2018 campaign. Vandals then finished bottom of Yorkshire division 2, and were relegated to Yorkshire division 3 for the 2018 / 19 season.
Kevin McCallion and Chris Davis will take over as part of a new coaching team for the 2019 / 2020 season.
