Hamza Haniffa (Sinhala: හම්සා හනීෆා) commonly known as BRO (born November 14, 1991) is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur, Internet personalities, and founder of "Bro - බ්රෝ". As a successful businessman,[1] he had become one of the richest entrepreneur in Sri Lanka and He is the ambassador of Stripe in Sri Lanka

Early life[edit]

Hamza Haniffa was born on 14 November 1991 in Kandy, Sri lanka. He pursued his primary and secondary education at the Zahira College, Gampola . He faced Advanced level examination in Mathematics stream and his Passed the advanced level examination. He also followed a one year electronic engineering course in IESl. After he also followed a software engineering course in ESOFT Metro Campus[2]

Career[edit]

Hamza had a interest in computers since he was small. However at that time ICT was not a popular subject in Sri Lanka. While surfing on the internet, he found information about Google AdSense.[3]

Meanwhile, Haniffa heard about Fiverr so he followed a graphic designing course and started doing graphics for random customers all over the world. In 2012, he was able to earn more than 1 lakh in Sri Lankan rupees per month.[4]

In 2013 he quit his government Job and started his own business. He named it “Koncgcept” Where he mainly focused on SEO and Google AdSense. He invited some of his fellow friends to join the business and they started creating content for their website targeting Google AdSense.[5]

With his passion for online business,now Hamza had become the ambassador of Paypal Sri Lanka, Managing Director at Apex and a Shareholder & the Managing Director at OutSmartHub.[6]

He also is the former managment assistant at Department of agriculture Sri Lanka, Former Managment Assistant at Ragama Genral hospital,former Managment assistant at Department of national museums.
