Nupur Agarwal

Nupur Agarwal is an Indian social entrepreneur and was the Youth Ambassador of Dehradun in 2016.

Agarwal is the founder of organisations like Evolve Foundation and KiWi KisanWindow.[1]

Early Life & Education

Agarwal was born in 1992 and grew up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She completed her schooling from Hope Town Girls School in Dehradun. [2] She graduated from the Lancaster University, England.[3] After returning to India, she started several of her own social enterprises.

Organization/Projects Founded

In 2015 Agarwal founded her first venture, Dehradun Drum Circle to raise awareness about Right to speech and expression.[4]

In 2016, she started with Evolve Foundation, an organisation in Dehradun city that deals with eco-friendly products like plantable stationery.[5] [6]'Kahaani' is a project under Evolve that encourages rural tourism.[2]

In 2017, Agarwal along with Abhinav Amitab Ahluwalia started another enterprise KiWi Kisanwindow, a health and wellness food chain to support the farmers of villages.[7]

Awards & Achievements

In 2013, Agarwal received the Lancaster Award from her university for her contribution towards empowering society.[3]

In 2016, she became the Youth Ambassador of Dehradun for engaging the youth of Uttarakhand by the government.[8]

In 2017, she received Mentor of Change-Niti Ayog, Atal Innovation Mission by the government of India.

Achieved Global Changemaker-Ashoka in the year 2018.[9]

In 2019, she was awarded with Youngest Achievers Award FICCI FLO India,[10] also Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship and Karmaveer Chakra award (bronze) instituted by the ICONGO and the UN.
