Early life & musical training[edit]
Hana started cultivating a deep passion for music at a very young age with the encouragement of both her parents who are music professors. She started showcasing a remarkable talent in playing Kanun at the age of seven.
As a first step towards professionalism, Hana received the Arab Music Diploma in 2012. [1]
Later on, she moved to the UAE to further pursue her musical education and graduated with distinction from Bait AL Oud (Arab Oud House) in 2016.
Thirsty for more knowledge, Hana attended masterclasses with the famous Kanun player Göksel Baktagir in Tunisia, Turkey and Algeria during the year 2017.
Career[edit]
Hana’s professional career expanded since 2012 as she started performing in concerts around the world including Germany, Algeria, UAE, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia.
In 2019, Hana started teaching rising and passionate young artists at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Tunis, Tunisia. She also coached a number of kanun players over the days of the Mediterranean Forum for kanun instrument at Hammamet, Tunisia and over the days of Meknes International Festival of kanun instrument in Meknes, Morocco.
