Hanairoha（花いろは）is a Japanese Idol Group. Their concept is "a royal girl group with a pistil of beauty and cuteness". Their name is a combination of the word "hana", meaning flower, and "iroha", meaning "the fundamentals of". On February 24, 2020, Hanairoha was one of the two groups formed from the disbanding group "Wonder Weed". The group belongs to the Limelight production agency. Until October 1, 2021, Hanairoha performed under the name "Hanairoha from Wonder Weed".
Wonder Weed, formed in 2015, was ceasing activity as its own group in order to be divided amongst two newly formed groups. While the other of the two new groups, ”Wonder Weed Ten”, retains the same theme and song library as that of Wonder Weed, Hanairoha was launched as a completely new group, becoming "Hanairoha from Wonder Weed".
Along with the reorganization of the groups, an audition for new members was held in 2020 across all of Japan. As a result of the auditions, 20 candidates were selected[1], 6 of which were transferred to their sister unit, "Wonder Breed" where they performed as temporary members.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic the group's debut was delayed from March until August 15, 2020.

Pre-Debut
2019
- Nov. 3: At Wonder Weed's Non-Regular Live (＠TwinBox AKIHABARA), it was announced that their activities would cease on Feb. 24, 2020, at their one-man live (＠EX THEATER ROPPONGI).
- Dec. 18: At Wonder Weed's Non-Regular Live (＠Ueno Otoyokochou), it was announced the group would be split into two separate groups.
2020
- Jan. 8: At Wonder Weed's Non-Regular Live (＠Shibuya club asia), the concept of the two groups was announced. One of which was given the temporary name "Hana Team".
- Feb. 24: At Wonder Weed's last one-man live with the current group (＠EX THEATER ROPPONGI), the group name and a portion of the members were announced. "Hana Team" became "Hanairoha from Wonder Weed". Members Sakura Chihiro and Aoi Kokoa would join the group. Unlike what had been announced, all the details of the new groups were not given at this time.
- Mar. 1: Initially, the group would debut on March 21, however, due to COVID-19 and the restrictions of large-scale events, it was announced that the start was going to be pushed back several weeks.[2]
- Mar. 19: The new group's Twitter account was set up and the debut live's date was announced. The unannounced members would be announced on the official Twitter account in the coming days.
- Mar. 25: Due to the stay at home orders imposed in Tokyo, the debut live, which was to be held at Shinjuku BLAZE, was once again postponed.
- Apr. 12: The group's SHOWROOM was set up.[3]
- Apr. 16: The member's LINE LIVE accounts were set up.[4]
- Apr. 21: The official Julia House shop was opened, allowing for the sale of members' cheki and videos.[5]
- May 16: An online special event was held where fans could speak one-on-one with the members via ZOOM.[6]
- Jun. 15: With Kurochan invited to be the MC, a show on SHOWROOM called "Idol no Iroha" began, which would be held every Monday.[7]
- Jul. 3 - 12: Member Sakura Chihiro participated in an online read-aloud event titled "Greif3".
- Jul. 31: It was announced that the debut live would take place on August 15.
- Aug. 10: It was announced on the SHOWROOM program "Idol no Iroha" that Harusawa Shion would also join the group.
- Aug. 15: Debut live is held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA O-EAST.
Post-Debut
2020
- Sep. 13: It was announced that, starting towards the end of the month, a tour would take place in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Osaka, and Aichi.[8]
2021
- March 16: The配信ミニアルバム「花のように」配信開始, “Kyougoku LOVE” MV公開.
- May 15: The配信ミニアルバム「花模様」配信開始.
- August 15: SHIBUYA TSUTAYA O-EASTにてワンダーウィード天と合同で1周年ライブを開催.
- August 30: SoftBank 5G LAB AR SQUAREアプリ内にてコンテンツ配信開始.
- September 23: 新木場 USEN STUDIO COAST にてワンマンライブ「満開宣言」を開催. 特設ページではVR動画も公開された。重大発表として、(1)「花いろは from ワンダーウィード」から「花いろは」への改名、(2)新メンバー候補生オーディション開催、(3)2022年春にCDリリース、の3つが発表された。また、リーダー佐倉ちひろが初めて作詞作曲を手掛けた「君想い桜」が初披露された。
- December 1: 「新メンバー候補オーディション」が開始される.
2022
- January 31: 今回のオーディションに関しては該当者なしと発表された.
- April: TOKYO MX1にて地上波初の冠番組「TVのいろは」がレギュラー化、毎月第一・第三火曜日に放送.
- August 2: 初のCD「花結び」をリリース予定. 1作目であるがアルバムCDである.
- August 19: 2周年記念ワンマンライブ「花結び」を神田スクエアホールにて開催. 全国ツアー公演を行うことが発表された.
- September 1: 「JuliaHouseアイドルオーディション2022年秋」の開催が発表される.
- September 15: 佐倉ちひろが脱退.
- November 30: 全国ツアーファイナル(於：o-west)にて、兎咲ななみ、穂積りんか、柊木まいなの加入を発表.
- December 7: 七人体制お披露目ライブ(於：白銀高輪 SELENE b2)を開催.
2023
- March 3: LINE CUBE Shibuyaにて3rdワンマンライブ「百花爛漫」を開催.
- April 10: 春澤しおん生誕祭(於：新宿BLAZE)にて、春澤がワンダーウィード天と兼任することが発表された。初ステージは5月5日の「JCIF (Japan Central Idol Festival) 2023」。
- May 2: 葵井と柚木が今秋をもって卒業することが発表された.
