Hanan Soliman Gewefel is an Egyptian physician and radiologist, and Dean of Applied Health Science Technology at Misr University for Science and Technology.[1] Her field of work is breast disease. She resides in El Manial. Gewefel has been a dedicated radiologist in breast imaging since 2005. She has worked since 2011 with the mammography unit she helped develop and now oversees. She is a founder of the Egyptian Breast Cancer Foundation and has diagnosed thousands of breast cancer cases.[2]
Gewefel is the chief executive officer of Women and Fetal Imaging Clinic. She holds a certificate from the European Society of Breast Imaging in Vienna, Austria, and is a consultant in the field of women's health.

Gewefel graduated from Cairo University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.).[3]
She has a diploma in health care and hospital management (2008) from the American University in Cairo and a diploma in breast imaging (2013) from the European Society of Breast Imaging in Vienna.[4]
