Hananim is the greatest god name of Korea.[1]

The supreme god of ancient Korea. As the master of the universe he moves the stars. Hananim punishes the wicked, and rewards the good. hana: one; nim: god.by Micha F. Lindemans

Hananim is conceived as the Supreme Being and principal object of faith in Korea. Hana is "Greatest Ligtht in the Heaven". Nim is the title of god.

Etymology of Hana[edit]

Hana is used with Han as "韓", which is the Korean Nation as Han. Ha was "Mu" as "无", which is the Emptyness of 無 in Buddhism. Hana is come from the ancient Korean numbering letter of One in Nokdomun of photogram (Korean: 녹도문, Chinese: 鹿圖文). Ha (Heaven), different sound as Mu in Korean traditional philosophy of Hanism.[2]

Korean Trinity God (Hananim)'s Heaven (Ha).

Na is the greatest light in the heaven of Ha. Na is the main character of Korean Letters. (Korean: 나) Hana is the number one, the first beginning and totality of three, Korean trinity (samshin).

Hananim and Haneullim[edit]

Hananim is used together with Haneullim or Haneunim. But, Haneul is the heaven in Ha from Hana. It is not a god, but a supreme being of Mu Haneul as 无 and 天. Haneul is the existing always forever in universe as mother of Hana. The nim is a suffix of god meaning, which is visible. Haneul is non-visible, but always existed in itself. Haneullim is the god of Heaven, which is changed to Hananim in concept of Hanism.

Hananim is the first being started from Haneul - Mu/Mo over heaven (supreme being transparent unvisible existence). Hananim is the totality of three presences or gods, which is called as totality in trinity. 三位一體 一神 (Samwi-ilche god, Samilshin)

Hananim is composed in three presence in usage. One is Heaven's one called as Cheonil (天一). Two is Earth's one called as Ji-il (地一). Three is Man's one called as In-il (人一). These Hana (one), Dul (two) and Set (three) is one unified being in totality as supreme being. It has been basic concept of Korean Trinity as Hanaism or Hanism.

Ha (Mu) is the background word of Martin Heidegger's philosophy.

Hana is the same as Monad in philosophy. It is characterized as supreme being as Polaris in Hana's photogram. It means the supreme existing supreme being as Na of 日 (Symbol of Sun derived from Na's photogram). The Hana photogram is MuGeuk (無極). Dul is "duality of Heaven and Earth" in one. It is called as Taegeuk (Chinese: 太極) in Daoism. However, in Hanism, it is called as Half-Geuk, Bangeuk (Chinese: 反極, Korean: 반극).
