Hanya Nafisa, commonly known as Haniya is an Indian Playback Singer and Instagram Influencer.[1]. She started her Music career by covering Songs in Instagram[2]. She is known for her Cover of Lukka Chuppi, which was released on August 25 2020.
Career[edit]
Haniya is pursuing her career in humanities with her interest in music. She began uploading cover version of songs from Genres of other Languages like English and Malayalam[3] which she released on Instagram[4] and YouTube in the Lock down Curfew[5]. In August, 2020 she uploaded the cover version of Luka Chupi from the movie Rang De Basanti (2006) which became widely popular. She normally plays the musical instrument Ukulele in most of the cover songs uploaded on the social media platforms.
Popular Works[edit]
Haniya was noticed by Music Composer Gopi Sundar who gave her the opportunity to debut as a Playback singer in the Telugu movie Most Eligible Bachelor (2021) Haniya sang the duet Ye Zindagi in the movie along with Gopi Sundar[6]. The music video was released on 5th April, 2021 on YouTube and received positive reviews and gathered 4 million views within a month.
She is currently working on a soundtrack with music composer Govind Vasantha for the Malayalam Movie ‘Adi’ slated for release in 2021[7]
