Hannah Grace Colin (born March 29, 2005) is an American dancer, actress, singer, model and reality television personality.[1] She is best known for being a main cast member on the ALDC Junior Elite team on the eighth and final season of the hit reality TV show, Dance Moms.[2]

Early Life[edit]

Colin was born in New Albany, Indiana to Robert and Ann Colin.[1] She is the younger sister of Joseph Colin and older sister of Emma Colin and William Colin.[1] The family continues to live in New Albany, Indiana.[1]

Colin began dance classes at 18 months old at Dance Works Center in New Albany, Indiana, which is owned by her mother.[1] She began training and performing lyrical, contemporary and tap dance styles before learning hip hop later on in her career.[1] Her favorite dance styles to perform are lyrical and contemporary and she revealed in her Lifetime introduction video that she wants to be a Rockette and dance on Broadway when she is older. [3] Colin has also revealed that her favorite dance move are aerials.[4] Besides dance, Colin has also trained and competed as a Gymnast. Colin revealed on her official instagram that she won the Level 6 State Beam Champion. [5][6]

In 2016, she peformed as a singer in a production called "Broadway Kids".[7] Colin was also cast in the production of 'Annie Warbucks' at Signature Theater in New York, NY in 2018.[8]

2019: Dance Moms[edit]

Colin stated during the Dance Moms Season 8 reunion special that she would've said 'yes' to a season 9, however, it was confirmed by her fellow Dance Moms cast member GiaNina Paolantonio, that there will not be a Season 9 and that the show is finished.[9][10]

2020-Present: Post-Dance Moms Career[edit]

After leaving Dance Moms, Colin has become active on her YouTube channel, gaining over 16k subscribers and 270k views in a year. Colin is also active on her instagram, garnering over 395k followers as of November 2020 and on TikTok, garnering over 208k followers and 8.4 million likes.

In 2020, Colin appeared as a dancer in Michael William Nigro and Zach Kessel's "Harmonize Against Hunger" virtual concert that raised money for the charities Feeding America and Project Broadway.[11][12] Colin also announced in 2020 that she is working with American singer-songwriter Cassandra Kubinski on a song.[13][14]
