Hannah Pixie Snowdon (born 19 January 1993) is a tattoo artist, model, and entrepreneur based in the United Kingdom. She started tattooing in 2009 and rose to fame when she modeled for alternative/emo apparel brand Drop Dead, and later became involved in a relationship with Bring Me the Horizon singer, Oliver Sykes.

Personal life

Snowdon was born in Doncaster and began living in Sheffield in 2012.[1] Snowdon became recognizable after she began modelling for Drop Dead, and it was rumoured that she was in a relationship with Bring Me the Horizon singer Oliver Sykes. After confirming their relationship, her popularity grew, and the couple got married on 12 July 2015.[2] They divorced in 2016.[3] Snowdon was also known for being good friends with fellow tattoo artist Grace Neutral and Anastasia Tasou.

Snowdon's divorce caused controversy after she spoke out[4] about being abused by Sykes.

Career

Snowdon began her tattoo career after leaving college and began an apprenticeship in a shop in Scunthorpe. Snowdon began learning how to tattoo when she began working for the tattoo studio Holy Mountain,[5] and later ventured into modelling for brands such as Drop dead and Frigid Clothing.

Snowdon opened her own private tattoo studio, Black Stabbath,[6] in September 2014, behind the Sheffield-based Drop Dead clothing store. She ran this private studio until 2016 when she decided to begin travelling and take Black Stabbath with her.

As well as tattooing, Snowdon has undertaken side projects such as creating a limited-edition zine called The Key, as well as having her own jewellery collection for Regal Rose[7] and designing a line for Drop Dead, labelled Black Stabbath x Drop Dead in 2014.

In 2016, Snowdon began travelling to Australia, where she had a guest spot at The Grand Illusion during the autumn, and used her social media, such as her Instagram[8] page, which has over 800,000 followers, to promote her work there.

Magazine appearances

Snowdon has appeared on many magazine covers for alternative audiences. Snowdon appeared on the cover of Luxe Magazine[9] in December 2014 and has appeared in Off The Rails Magazine more than once; the first time was for a photoshoot alongside close friend Anastasia Tasou[10] and most recently she featured on the front cover of issue nine.[11]
