Hans-Josef Dreckmann

Hans-Josef Dreckmann (born September 17 1938 in Oberhausen) is a German journalist.
Life
From 1958 to 1964 Dreckmann studied Latin and German studies at University of Münster and at University of Munich. From 1964 to 1971 he worked as a journalist at German newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten. Since 1971 Dreckmann worked for German broadcaster WDR in Cologne. From 1974 to 1980 Dreckmann worked as correspondent for ARD-studio in Brussels. Dreckmann worked from 1981 to 1987 as Africa-correspondent for ARD-studio in Nairobi.[1] From 1987 to 1991 he worked as a journalist for ARD again in Cologne. From 1991 to 1994 Dreckmann worked as correspondent at ARD-studio in Moscow and again from 1994 to 2001 as correspondent in Nairobi.[2]
