Hard Art Gallery was an art venue in Washington, D.C., located near 14th & P Street NW.[1] It was active in the early 1970s and revitalized by Rogelio Maxwell after its closure around 1976.[2] Hard Art Gallery showcased primarily visual art but hosted a small number of punk shows, including the Slickee Boys and the last D.C. show Bad Brains played in 1979 before moving to New York City.[2]
